Nicole Taylor has 21 years of litigation experience and frequently appears before our Dallas County civil courts on a wide range of legal matters including motions, discovery disputes, jury and bench trials. Her litigation experience encompasses commercial litigation and litigation management in both federal and state courts.
Taylor is currently a partner at The Cochran Law Firm Texas and is the Managing Attorney for The Taylor Law Firm, P.C., both in Dallas. She represents businesses, governmental entities, non-profits, trade associations, foundations and social service organizations. Taylor’s practice areas include corporate and business, labor and employment, real estate, finance and taxation matters.
Taylor has also worked as a Partner of West & Associates and as a Senior Associate at Adorno Yoss White & Wiggins. She is a proud graduate of Clemson University and Southern Methodist University School of Law. Taylor is active in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association serving as Chair of Diversity & Inclusion and has been a member of the American Association for Justice, the Dallas Bar Association and J.L. Turner Legal Association. Taylor is also a member of the Texas Democratic Lawyers Association and participated extensively during recent voter protection initiatives for the 2020 General Election.
Taylor and her family are longtime Dallas County residents, and frequent supporters of Democratic campaigns and voting access and protection initiatives. She is a former Democratic Precinct Chair and served Dallas County as a Voter Deputy Registrar for many years. Taylor is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a national public service organization, for more than 25 years and serves in National and Regional leadership positions. She is a breast cancer survivor and an ardent advocate for those battling this diagnosis. Taylor serves on the board of 1060 Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting single mothers, and their families, who are fighting breast cancer.
